The Craft Pedlars, Inc. has established a firm hold in several areas of the craft and hobby industry with virtually little competition and many, many growth potentials in other market areas.  Our primary focus has been the craft industry, largely because this is where we started, what we knew, and who we knew. Other industries have been enticing and we are certainly actively seeking the right avenues to direct us.  We also have long term well grounded relationships with several large “players” in the industry with whom we are well liked and respected which has also kept our focus within familiar territory.

Our product mix has fluctuated over the last 10 years and we really have come full circle to encompass the strengths of our company.  We have really narrowed the selections and just refreshed our warehouse stock sheet to include only our top selling items.  While all goods we have carried in the past are available to our buyers, they will not necessarily be warehoused; however, they can be ordered on our very successful “special order program”. Many customers utilize this service for both existing items as well as custom designs.  Our custom products have increased tremendously over the last 3 years.  We can design and produce goods in nearly any shape or size in paper mache, fabric and basket materials.

We also recently added a program we call our 90 day+ program.  Many accounts are able to plan ahead for their future purchasing requirements.  In doing so, we can also plan ahead with them, shipping their order in on one of our containers, offering the buyer a 20% discount incentive to utilize this service.  We then do not have to warehouse any additional goods, the order comes in and is immediately shipped out saving us the costs for warehousing that particular merchandise. We have also negotiated a program called “Trade Direct” with UPS whereby pre-ordered goods come to their warehouse and are then shipped to the buyers.  This has been extremely well received and is being utilized by a select group of customers. 

Our Manila office truly has the capability to do quite a lot for our customers. Because we are a licensed exporter, we can consolidate orders coming from various suppliers to ship with our goods on a container; we can pre-price, label cartons, or product in virtually any way required, pack goods to meet special needs, create or design custom headers or packaging and much more.  We have a full service staff and facility in the Philippines who are all well trained and experienced.  Most of our key staff have been in our employ for 5 years or more.
